Why should building inventory be conducted regularly?

A building inventory is necessary for an investor who wishes to have an up-to-date understanding of an existing building. The actual state of the building in the form of a current inventory is useful, for instance, in the planning of renovation work, additions, and expansions. The extent of the inventory largely depends on the investor's needs and is determined each time before commencing the work.

What activities do we carry out as part of the inventory?

The inventory is conducted in the form of signed and framed technical drawings, similar to the construction project. The documentation should include, among other things: a technical description considering the location, type, and character of the building, the number of floors, its height and area, a description of the building materials used for constructing its individual elements, cross-sections of all floors with marked heights of characteristic points.
